Biggest Loser Challenge

Boot camp is all about results: your results.

You should expect to come to boot camp to work. Boot Camp is exactly what it sounds like, exercise done military style. We took what we knew about fitness, and incorporated what we liked about the military: Teamwork, accountability, goal-oriented efforts, consistent progress, and a 'can do' attitude. Just like the military, when you are in boot camp you won't work alone. We promise that you will be part of a team. Here is what to expect during your bootcamp sessions.

Teamwork
Boot camp is about individual results, but its also about a team that wants results - since everyone has common goals we all pull for each other. You will be grouped with people that are similar in fitness level as yourself during the workouts and on our runs. Don't worry about keeping up - we will make sure you do. The first person has to keep working until the last person finishes, - we all work together....We succeed together. No one holds each other back, we all push each other forward - come see what this is all about and you will remember what it was like being on a great team when you were younger.
Competition
Competition makes us work just a little bit harder, during boot camp you might compete individually, or you may have a partner for a day and may compete with your partner. We play games during boot camp that we played as kids - welcome back to the school yard, remember how much fun it was? Remember how you were able to run and play? Boot camp brings you back, puts a smile on your face and gets you moving and sweating. Boot camp is a positive environment and we will make sure that you always win. And by the way....Can't is not a word we even understand so don't bring that word around here.
Excercise
The exercise routines will incorporate cardiovascular exercises, strength and conditioning exercises, core exercises and ploymetric and agility exercises.
Cardio will include things like running, jump roping (advanced), calisthenics and other total body movements. Cardio helps your heart and lungs grow stronger, giving you higher levels of natural energy, and improving your overall endurance.

Strength and conditioning exercises will use dumbbells, resistance bands and your bodyweight in exercises that will condition your calves, thighs, hips, glutes, lower back, abdominals, chest, shoulder and arms. We will help you sculpt and develop your body. We use science to formulate the most effective strength and toning routines.

The Core element of boot camp will focus on 'core' exercises which build the structural integrity of your muscular-skeletal system. It also hardens and strengthen your abdominals! Core is a great way to shave inches off your midsection while eliminating many cases of low back and hip pains. These are mostly ground based movements which go far beyond the exercises you have been doing for 'abs'.

Lastly, the plyometric and agility portion of the workout includes various calisthenics, agility and balance drills, and speed drills. Athletic drills and exercises will make you sweat, improve your balance, coordination and athletic ability. Not an athlete? Don't worry, you can, and you will be able to accomplish this task!
